Praise for the Personal Finance Program

Miami-Dade County Public Schools is pleased to partner with the Muriel F. Siebert Foundation to bring the exemplary Personal Finance Program to our students and teachers. Now more than ever, students must be ready to enter the increasingly economically complex world we live in as knowledgeable, responsible, and financially literate members of society. The Personal Finance Program provides students with opportunities to learn about financial institutions, the use of credit, and other basic financial skills.

Teachers must also be better equipped to teach financial literacy skills to their students. The Personal Finance Program and the high-quality professional development offered by program staff, provide our teachers with the tools necessary to teach financial literacy skills to the students in Miami-Dade. The teachers in our District give the instructional program and the professional development provided by staff the highest marks!
